Academy of Prani Wellness Learning
Thai Kobido Fusion Mastery™ is a structured online professional development course created and developed by Mannie, Founder and Lead Trainer of Prani Wellness Learning.
The Professional Certificate Pathway includes structured practice, practical video assessment, personalised feedback from your instructor, the opportunity to refine and resubmit your work where needed, and professional certification on successful completion.
Drawing on Mannie’s long-standing experience in hands-on wellness practice, spa ownership, client care and professional education, the course has been designed to help practitioners develop confident, considered manual facial massage skills that can be applied within a professional treatment setting.
The training brings together Kobido-inspired facial massage, Thai-inspired facial and meridian principles, lymphatic facial techniques and supporting spa massage elements to create a complete treatment approach rather than simply teaching a collection of individual movements.
Students begin with the foundations of the treatment, including facial anatomy, lymphatic and energy pathways, client consultation, contraindications, safety considerations and treatment planning. The course then progresses into detailed practical training in the Thai Kobido facial massage sequence.
Techniques are demonstrated from both top-view and side-view perspectives, helping students study hand placement, direction, facial contours, wrist position, pressure, rhythm and transitions more clearly. Individual sections are broken down progressively before students move into guided follow-along practice and the complete treatment sequence.
Throughout the course, students will develop greater awareness of:
This course is designed as active practical learning, not passive video viewing. Students are encouraged to watch, practise, repeat and refine, returning to individual demonstrations as their confidence and technique develop.
Prani Wellness Learning is an approved CPE Provider with the Massage Association of Australia (MAA). Professional recognition and CPE allocation may vary according to the individual course, association requirements and the practitioner’s own professional circumstances.
Thai Kobido Fusion Mastery™ is suitable for beauty therapists, facialists, massage therapists, spa practitioners and other appropriately trained wellness professionals who want to strengthen their manual facial skills and develop a more distinctive hands-on treatment approach.
Students must work within their existing qualifications, professional scope of practice and insurance requirements.

This reading gives you the professional foundation for understanding and safely applying the Thai Kobido Fusion Mastery™ method. You will learn how Thai-inspired facial acupressure and meridian-informed preparation, gentle lymphatic facial work and Kobido-inspired rhythmic massage are brought together into one calm, connected treatment flow.
Begin the practical Thai Kobido sequence using the top-view demonstration. This first lesson introduces the opening facial massage movements and establishes the hand control, rhythm and pressure awareness needed throughout the complete sequence.
Continue the top-view Thai Kobido practical sequence, building on Part 1 and developing greater coordination between both hands, smoother transitions and a more consistent treatment rhythm.
Repeat the side-focused Thai Kobido sequence on the client's left side, developing bilateral consistency, practitioner adaptability and comparable pressure and rhythm across both sides of the face.
Thai Kobido includes sections performed on one side of the face at a time.
This lesson demonstrates the sequence on the client's right side.
The practical routine includes side-focused work such as lower-face kneading, combined kneading and stroking, supported hand positions, jaw-area work, tapping and transitions towards the neck.
Working one side at a time allows you to develop more specific control over hand placement and facial contour.
Do not allow the non-working hand to become forgotten.
Where appropriate, the supporting hand contributes to stability, connection and treatment flow.
Return to the centred face position and continue the Thai Kobido sequence through centre of facial, eye and forehead work while refining symmetry, flow and transitions between both sides.
Learn the distinctive Moonlight closing sequence, combining slow sweeping movements around the chin, mouth, cheeks and ears to progressively calm the treatment rhythm before the final stillness work.
Complete the Thai Kobido treatment with slower facial strokes and gentle closing techniques designed to bring the active massage sequence to a calm, considered finish.
Study the finer hand mechanics behind Thai Kobido. This technique-focused lesson helps you understand how to move, reposition and transition the hands more efficiently so the massage feels continuous rather than segmented.
Add supplementary techniques to your Thai Kobido practical toolkit and refine movements that can support treatment variation, transition quality and your developing manual confidence.
A guided follow-along rehearsal for eligible Thai-Kobido live training graduates to refine rhythm, pressure control, and seamless transitions. To master this properly, allow 60+ minutes rehearsal per session and repeat until your flow feels automatic.
